Happy Holidays everyone! I have been struggling with sorting this blog out since my "pc accident" so bear with me on catching up- which will have to wait a bit- as I am going to EGYPT for Christmas!
For the past few months I have been dating a gentleman- Bill. he's a bit older (67!) but young in spirit- and at least doesn't have big gut, a wife, or a self-important attitude. Nor terribly boring.However- for many many reasons- this is not a relationship going anywhere- except on holiday. Will no doubt be back on the hunt shortly after....So no, I have not found true love in Britain as yet. I DID however enjoy a nice interlude with GENE who came to visit recently. So I did get to spend some time with someone I DO love dearly- (and a bit of good lovin:) ... but sigh- he had to go back to the US.But pics attached. He only had a few days here after a 2 week business trip to India. Having been here before, didn't need to see the sights-th0 actually we went up to Durham (N. England) to visit with some friends of his from 20 odd years ago. Got to see the "Angel of the North"-(humongous sculpture) and almost got to see George Washingtons family home(but everything closed on the day we were there- Nov.1st).Oh well- had some slight misadventure at a restuarant in London- involving bumped heads, burned hands and porn bathroom wallpaper.The food is mediocre but the atmosphere great. Decked out like an Italian opera house on LSD. I love it. WEll- must get cracking and packing. Hope to have some pics from the pyramids- the beach ( high 70's there now) and will do more to catch up on here and in future.Meantime, I wish you all a great Christmas and Happy New Year!Consider spending some of it here!xo Jan/Jenni
